Last November I enrolled into Google AdWord Regional, and I immediately noticed not more regular listings, just my ads.
revenue generated by the ads is not covering the cost. Several customers have told me they never look at paid ads, they look for "regular" hits. Funny... that is what I do when I am looking for somthing.
I am ready to drop the AdWords because Google "Local" is apparently broken regarding "can't identify location of user" so my ads are not displayed at all... even to me... but competitor ad with same zip code displays to me. I tried through dialup and through cable. Google doesn't know where I am even when I tell him.
I just want to go back to a regular listing in the Google database. I can't seem to find how to do that, even for a price. It makes me feel so dumb. Any ideas?
Your problem about "regular" listing is totally independent from the enrollment into regional Adwords.
The fact that your site has disappeared just with adwords enrollment is a pure coincidence.
It could be happened something that has determinated your exclusion from Google index:
Have you changed domain name?
Have you or your webmaster manipulated page codes?
Try to check your inclusion in Google index by typing your exact domain name in the search bar.
If you don't come up you've been deleted from the index and it will be needed to know the reasons before to repeat a submission.
As regard to the payment option to be indexed in the "regular search" ,it isn't provided. you can only re-submit your web site.
