I started another campaign about 6 hrs. ago. So far - 1 impression, 0 clicks. All key words read as normal, but it sure looks like nothing is happening, or Google is really behind on their stats.

And I keep reading of a lot of glitches on this board with people starting new campaigns. Is there some generalized problem here? I can't see that I've done anything wrong at my end, but then again, anything's possible.

Of all the keywords you have listed do you know how many search have been performed on those keywords in the last 30 days?

I assume you already double your budget and search for the keywords yourself!?

I have now increased my daily budget to the recommended amount. Now how do I see how many of these words have been searched for in the last 30 days?

> Last 30 days

You can't I am afraid. You can use the traffic estimater to get some idea. It is fair to say that the only way to really find out is to let the campaign run for a bit.

BTW reporting stats will invariably be a few hours behind.

I can't live without a free tool called Good Keywords.

I have lots and lots of adgroups, more than I can easily track everyday. Sometimes after about 2 weeks I'll notice one that never got an impression even though that should be highly unlikely.

I just re-save the ad with a minor change and it kicks off.

Occasionally I have seen Google show no stats at all for hours! Once it was most of a day! It is not unusual to show no activity for awhile. Give it a chance.

You could always use the Overture keyword tool:
[inventory.overture.com...]
(US market, go to your local Overture for a local version)

Sometimes it can take a few hours for the actual data on clicked keywords to update. Often on a new word I seem to get only partial data for a day or so, then it gets into the pipeline or something.

You could always use the Overture keyword tool:

I have no vested interest in the free Good Keywords tool, but may I add that what it does is shell the Overture List (US and UK) plus some other engines in a very neat little user friendly, well written program.

I use it constantly. It's one of those deals you can store as a stub in your system tray at will. I should be decent and upgrade to the full version for all it's provided me with!

Actually, it's probably in my best interests to say no more :)
