"In-trial"...

...not "In-trial"

I had to smile.

Having just made some tweaks to my campaigns and set up a new adgroup earlier in the day, I was somewhat disappointed to see one of my top-performing kw's go straight "In-trial" after I'd transfered it to work on the new ad.

About two/three hours later and now it's come off "probation" and is once again one of my top-performing kw's! That really was a short "trial"..;-)

Good stuff. That is expediting a keyword at its finest.

I've seen this behaviour in a recent campaign as well. After 1 day (and only a few impressions) at least 50% of our keywords were on trial or on hold. The adgroup was enjoying a healthy avg 8% CTR. Today all is back to normal. It looks like the Algo is a bit trigger happy at first :)
