Is anyone else using the new adwords cross channel tool for tracking conversions across more than 1 ppc engine?

has anyone else got it to work?

Until Google ads a place for Cross Channel listings to appear in reports, it's a vastly underdeveloped tool.

The reason to use such a free tool would be to compare how listings compare across different channels. However, there is no easy way todo this at present.

Also, since you need to place the Google code that corresponds with the channel on every landing page, there's not a simple way to implement the tool across a large website.

To answer the question, yes it works - it just doesn't work well.

Thanx eWhisper,

Without integration in the reporting this feature is pretty much worthless.

Thanks for this really excellent feedback, eWhisper (and you too, Robsp). You can bet I'll be passing it on to the right team soon. Any other comments are welcome - as to how this tool is, or is not, useful to you all.

Hello AdwordsAdvisor

I think the development of this tool is fantastic as there are few other products on the market that will allow me to compare all my campaigns for one client in one place. Most other companies aside from Google and Overture do NOT offer conversion tracking ... which is useless as I cant measure ROI.

My main issue with Cross Chanelling now is that there is no data appearing in any of my channels. I have set them up twice going through the procedure as recommended in Adwords however they just dont seem to work. Who can I talk to about getting this fixed?

I do agree with eWhisper as well on the point he touched on above.
