Why can't I modify my Ad Group name

Why can't I change the Name / title of my existing Ad Groups?

It seems like it would be SO easy

It is easy!

Select the campaign that contains your adgroup. When you get a list of adgroups displayed, click the check box for the relevant adgroup. Then click on the "Rename" button.

I am sad to report I have had my adwords acct for 3 years and never noticed this :(
