Linking directly to the right page?

How can I with CJ?

I am working with Adwords and Commission Junction. There is a company I am selling for that only supplies a few link on CJ. Is it possible to provide a link directly to the web page that has the item I am selling and still get my credit? What happens is my links are to the companies home page and people may not search the web site to find the item I am selling.

If this is possible how do I do it?

Thanks

If you have more than 10k in sales (not payouts) you can ask CJ to get access to datafeeds for product specific links. If you don't have the sales volume I think they charge a couple hundred dollars for access (1 time charge).

Some merchants make it possible to link to individual products from the main link section.

The other thing you can do is click on a banner or text link that you want to use from the selection of links. Click on the "Get HTML" button after that. On the next screen click on "Show Advanced Options".

For some merchants, the screen will then show a few additional fields that include.

SID (put a keyword or some king of tracking ID in here if you want)

Image URL (you don't care about that for AdWords)

Destination URL

If Destination URL shows up you can browse the merchant site, take whatever URL you want and plug it in that field and then click on the "Update HTML" button. You'll then have a CJ link to the page you want.
