Account Slowed

Under 500 total impressions

I haven't seen the dreaded 'account slowed' email in a long time. However, seeing an account slowed which has received 0 impressions in the last 24 hours (when it was at normal visiblity), and less than 500 all time impressions makes me think there is something amiss with some stats.

FYI - It's less than a week old, paused to fix some tracking issues.

How can G make any decision based on less than 500 impressions, not even for a keyword, but for an entire account.

Has anyone noticed any increase in 'account slowed' recently?

Not at account level but surely at keyword level. Some brand new keywords got slowed or disabled after less than 100 clicks. What I understand is that this is related to other advertentizer's performance on those words, which I still find a stupid "rule".

My account has actually generated more clicks than ever this week.

Robsp - do you mean 100 impressions or 100 clicks?

I've seen a few KWs slowed/disabled with less than 100-250 impressions in areas that were histoically very competitive. I really dislike the fact that G assumes because these KWs usually get disabled, that yours will as well.

eWhisper, I do mean 100 impressions sorry about that. I think it is ridiculous to assume that if one advertizer fails on a keyword the others would too. We get paid not to fail and usually get very decent CTR's in very competitive markets.

yes, this bug makes people crazy. It seemed that Google corrected (maybe only turn off) it in the last weeks, but if it is back, it is a VERY BAD NEWS.

Just for your fun - I include the copy of my e-mail, that I sent to the support after receiving the mail, that my new account was slowed. I was very angry (as you can see :-), I hope that it will not happen again.

ARE YOU KIDDING?!

There is one word in the whole account that has In Trial status. It is word
"widget" and it reached 3 (three!) impressions during All time! All other words has the status Normal.

So the one word, with 3 (three!) impressions is the reason to slow my
account?! And to pay 5 USD to restore it? What will be the next? Another
word with (maybe) 10 impressions and ...?

I thought that this boy:
[webmasterworld.com...]
is some exception. But I can see now, that it is some "new rule".

From the discussion on the WebmasterWorld is clear that this is a bug on your side.
So, please let me know your solution.

I only hope I will not receive some Cut&Paste stuff (as the boy on the WebmasterWorld). I know how to run an AdWords account succesfully - I have
an acount with a words with good CTR. But before starting my optimization of this campaign, your are slowing it down (because of the word with 3 impressions)! I really do not like it.

So, please let me know YOUR solution.

Their solution was, that they restored account and gave me 5$ back.
