I took an AdWords survey today, and the questions about shopping cart services were more than trivial.

The one that made me look twice: What was the most important factor in your choice of shopping cart technology?

Very interesting. Pure conjecture, of course.

Could be also that they are trying to tweak Froogle a little bit better.

I took the survey and noticed it too.

They wanted to know what you use. Maybe they will consider buying a payment processor / shopping cart.

We have used 2checkout for years and they have a running tab on their homepage showing how much dollars have been processed thus far in the year. Over 15 mil in 26 days ... not bad considering they charge 5.5% plus.

Ebay bought Paypal sometime ago. There is definitely room for two major, first tier payment processors.

:)
