Can any one let me know why key words disable? what are reasons and how can we make them again able to show.

Keywords are usually disabled for one of two reasons:
1. CTR is below the minimum threashold number (0.5% on Google search) for position 1, and lower for other positions.
2. No impressions for 90 days.

[webmasterworld.com...] msg 12 has some good info as to why keywords get disabled.

Few threads about What todo with Disabled Keywords:

Hi,

Google calculates a predicted CTR for your keyword based on many factors. Keywords that has more then predicted CTR (0.5%) will be put under normal status. if not then it will be either put under onhold or on trial status. The keywords intrial are under evaluvation by google in checking whether it meets min requt. if it meets then it will be put under normal status or if not then it will be disabled

please check the following link for further information.

I have a humongously popular single word keyword that gets well over the required ctr with a minimum bid and is only in the search side and it keeps getting disabled. I put it in quotes. It is reenabled. It is then disabled. I take the quotes off. It reenabled then disabled. I wrote and am waiting for a response. I don't need the term particularly but I am fascinated to learn why this keeps happening. Cheers, S
