Adwords from £8 per day to £160 per day! Oeerr

Edit Campaign Settings Not Working Correctly

I run a small campaign for a client who's recommended budget, has been, and currently is (according to Adwords) £8.00 per day and that is the cost we currently run at.

Currently if I ask for the "recommended budget" in the campaign settings I get:
1. £8.00 per day

Ask again and I get
2. £610.00 per day!

Ask again £8.00
Ask again £610.00!

and so-on

Small wonder the client is concerned that her ads are not appearing as they should!

Anynone else experiencing this?

EarWig, the 'recommended budget' is not a fixed amount, and you can expect it to vary as the competitive landscape changes from moment to moment. And, it'll certainly change if you change your country targeting, the number and/or type of keywords, your Max CPC, etc.

With that said, though, if you were seeing the same two figures you mentioned alternating, having made no changes to campaign itself, well, yes, that is truly odd. ;)

If that is the case, you may want to contact AdWords support and have them take a look.

And in the meantime, you may wish to use the date range tool and see what your actual clicks accrued have been, day-by-day. This can give you a pretty good read on where you stand with your budget.
