Say you've got 1 product page and 4 adwords each leading to this product.

How do you track which adword is converting best?
Google tells you to paste javascript into the
page, for example, where your brochure is ordered.

Let's call it the "thankyou" page but surely that just records the overall conversions and can't differentiate which adword was used?

You can run reports to pull conversion data by campaign, group, keyword, or ad.

This data should show (except for ads) in your regular account without running any reports.

It is helpful to run reports as well for some data mining, and I'd recomend getting famaliar with the customizable reports.

So by pasting the javascript in 1 page
e.g. the thank you page,
I'll see a report that separates the
performance of all the 4 ads?

You have to run custom reports (or add specific tracking URLs to the ads that your system collects) to see this data - but it's available.

The ability to split test conversions by ads is can be a very useful tool.
