Last year, a lot of AdSense publishers received Christmas gifts from Google around the holidays. Didn't hear anything about AdWords for last year though.

What about this year? Have any of you who have AdWords accounts received any Google goodies this year yet?

I got a radio/light. Pretty clever - depending on which side you turn it on, it will either be off, turn on just the radio, turn on just the light or both.

Not sure whether I got it for Adwords or Adsense. I do both.

I got the same radio for Adwords. It is a neat thing (my kids love it).

Maybe just a lump of coal.

My guess is there is some kind of threshold before you get a gift, but I really don't know. My Adwords budget is tiny ($30/month) so that's probably not enough to qualify. My Adsense take is much larger and may well put me over whatever threshold they may have.

This is bad...we spend over 40K with them every month and yet zilch. I feel insulted.

I think the key is that you are under some form of account management so they know you other than through your account.

webpundit - you'll probably get a pleasant surprise later in the week. For me I usually don't find these gifts in my mailbox for 3-4 days after the thread pops up.

Got me a light too, better than nothing I guess. Overture didn't send me squat.

Just got my lights today. They're pretty neat. Too bad the Google name is on them or I would re-gift them - he he he!

Overture used to send stuff out. I got a nice pen one year and a little (GoTo) notebook another year. I guess they're too cheap and greedy now. BUMS!

Cool, got it! I was going to link to it for y'all, but apparently it isn't yet available at the google store... so as for now it's a pretty unique thing to have!
