Broad, exact, phrase match concerns....

I am trying to get as much traffic as possible at 5 cents a click. Currently I have all my keywords under broad match, but have read that it is best to use all3 matches in case one gets cancelled. However, sometimes when I do estimates adding all 3 the estimates go way down... Should I still add all 3, is this just a prediction hiccup?

Thanks!

It's better to base your decisions around logical conclusions than around Google's tools.

It's more logical to think that you'll get more total hits from using all 3 matching options than more hits from just one.

Therefore, it's most likely true - for an algorithm - Google's tools aren't always logical.
