What that basically means is google imbeds ads in alot of websites, outside of the google search engine. It was probably clicks from one of those.
I get a ton of traffic in syndication but not alot of good click through rates.
I am looking at the all time stats for my campaign, and can count up 5 clicks. However, I am currently being charged for 13 clicks? I don't get it. I count 5 clicks total, for all time, so what am I missing here?
Because none of us here can see your account, we're really at a disadvantage in answering very particular questions about stats and billing, hbirnbaum. For this reason, I think this sort of question really calls out to be answered by the AdWords support folks.
With that said, here is my best guess:
The other clicks may have come from a disabled keyword, Ad Group or Campaign that you're not seeing due to your account settings.
You may want to check to make sure that all paused, deleted, or otherwise inactive account elements are showing. There is a setting at each level of your account to allow this:
* Campaign Summary level: Set for 'Show all campaigns' - as opposed to 'show only active campaigns'
* Campaign level: Set for 'Show all Ad Groups' - as opposed to 'show only active Ad Groups'
* Ad Group level: Check the box for "Include deleted items that were active in this date range".
