Using the word "Online" in title

I have been reviewing my ads and noticed competitors using the word "Online" in the title. Even showing up on automated titles. When I started with adwords, this was not allowed. Has the policy changed?. In your experience is it beneficial to use the word "online"

This policy has indeed changed about 6 months ago. It works for you when you do have something uniquely "online" I would say. It works for us in some cases.

You are allowed to use the same word more than once now which is helpful.
