Amazon traffic down in last couple of days?

Or is it just my inexperience?

I'm a newbie to this forum, and to Adwords pretty much, just been working at it for the last month, so this could just be related to my incompetence, but....

Has anybody noticed a downturn in traffic on promoting Amazon products in the last two or three days? It sounds ridiculous ('tis the season of ching'ing cash registers etc..) but I can't completely explain the problem either by slowed/disabled keywords (and there have been plenty) or others' CPCs going up (which they seem to). Any similar experiences?

Slightly off-topic, I am a Brighton (UK) resident, so if anybody local fancies a beer and a chat sometime (to give my long-suffering girlie a break from me banging on incessantly about Adwords) then please feel free to PM me.

K.

Kiter:

I don't know if things are different across the pond in Jolly Ole England, but I've experienced a quite marked increase in sales over here (US Amazon ads). Perhaps UKers aren't on exactly the same buying schedule as we are here, but I think this week has been the busiest of the year. I literally have to keep raising my (already high) spending limits on some categories to get enough ads to show.

So, in short, I'd consider it EXTREMELY strange to see amazon traffic go down this week, even in a foreign country.
