Is there a way around 25/35?

Titles can have up to 25 characters and text lines up to 35. Sounds Ok for English text I think, but this can really be a problem in other languages.

A simple 3 word phrase could end up as 5 words in French or Italian, or even worse: 1 or 2 very long words in Dutch or German. Many normal phrases don't fit in the 25/35 position limitation.

Is there a way around this? How do others deal with that?
Would Google alow more positions in some languages?

Thanks!

HitProf, I am not aware of a way around this. I'll be happy, however, to pass on your feedback.

Just out of curiosity, how would this ideally be handled in your opinion? More space in the ads? Smaller type? Other ideas?

Hi AWA,

The easiest way would probably be to use an extra lines. This is done in some formats in AdSense and looks good. With only 8 ads per page there is enough room on a page. Perhaps the 25 limit for the title can be set to 35 as well.

Smaller type would be OK for me, but perhaps not for many others :)

Thanks for the opportunity.

AWA,

Decreasing font size will make the ads harder to read.

And I agree with HitProf in expanding the Title to 35 (pull-ease!) and/or adding additional lines.
