I'm getting scared

My mum wants to open up an Adwords account but I am concerned this will end up with my account being banned. Since this is my livelyhood, I am naturally concerned.

I have heard situations where people have their accounts banned due to them being brothers and so on. Google has lots of cross checking of stuff going on, or so I have read, and I don't think it is a good idea for her to sign up.

What do you think?

What happens if she targets in areas that overlap but they are different sites?

Google doesn't mind so much when you are paying them, but when they pay you, the rules understandably get a little tighter.

Do any of your keywords span accounts? Are these accounts used under the same IP? I have considered doing this (for very different sites but same kw) as it would be profitable to me but my ethics and fear of being banned have restrained me.

Same IP- What do you mean by that? You don't register an IP.

As far as I know, you can advertise ten stores that sell identical products. As long as they're different sites.

Because Google wants to be able to control quality and stamp out fraud and if it allowed lots of interrelated accounts, it would be harder to police who's doing what.

I thought google would be against this, since when you do so within 1 account your ads end up splitting time. I never found out for sure though. If it is acceptable behavior that is a bit of a bummer for me.

You should just ask Google through the contact link in AdWords, or have you already tried that?

PPC Bidder: Sometimes I bid on the same keyword for the same product on 5+ different accounts. As long as you're bidding on seperate URLs, thus preserving Google's diversity of results, that's fine. I believe the t&c's word it differently (or maybe even say it's not allowed) but my account rep says it's fine.
