i just tested out adwords last night.
I chose two keywords, and my maximum click per cost is at $1.00.

how accurate is the traffic estimator? it says that i should be getting 5,000 clicks per day for this particular keyword at the price i assigned..is this true?

when will i actually start getting visitors after launching adsense?

It has been a little over 8 hours now...should i wait a little longer? or should i increase my price?

hmm
if google adwords tell that at $1 you will get 5000 visitors and you havent got any 1 since 8 hours seems strange
how many impressions have u got?

try improving ad content if u have got enough impressions

I have similar problem. I started my first campaign 3 days ago. Traffic estimator said that I should get about 250 clicks, but I don't receive even 250 impressions. I'm not really sure where could be the problem.

The traffic estimator operates under some assumptions. One of them is the assumption that your ad has been reviewed and approved. Until that time, your ad will show at a much reduced rate on search only. Review can take hours or days.

You know your ad is approved when you see impressions for content and partner sites, if you have content enabled for the campaign.
