is this possible that this clicker guy is from comcast internet only?
what i can do to stop this?
Stop ads or stop ads in that area or what?
Watch your ad's position climb as they continue to click. Reduce your max cpc gradually while they help you maintain an excellent position due to the artificial ctr boost. Then laugh all the way to the bank as real customers come through at reduced cost.
Monitor closely. Your ROI may work out the same in some cases.
one particular IP from comcast internet service is constantly cliking our ads which are costing us lot and when we contaced google they send the same olld email saying that they have
advanced click traking techonology and this and that...
Benevolent001, just a couple of notes:
It is worth clarifying the essential message of that email you mentioned: basically, every single impression and click is filtered by a variety of means, and that while an 'invalid' click may certainly have occurred, and while it has appeared in your server logs, this does not mean that it will be included in your account stats - or that you'll pay for it.
Also, many different individuals may be assigned the same IP address by a service provider, which may also explain some of what you are seeing in your logs.
