People are not going to believe this, but tonight I saw my #2 AdWords ad go to the ad belonging to the #1 position when clicked.

It's not even like I picked the wrong one. The #1 ad was in blue above the SERPs and my ad was the first in the regular AdWords column. I'm going to contact support and see what they have to say.

Has this ever happened to anyone else? I cannot afford to see my money thrown away like this. The bid on the ad was over a dollar. I will admit I clicked it by accident, but I clearly clicked the right ad.

What's up?

Nopes nothing happened of this sort to me. Yes you should contact Adwords support to find out the problem.

Just curious, why did you clicked the #1 ad?

Patient2all, perhaps I just haven't had enough coffee yet this morning, but I am not following this. Could you provide a bit more detail as to what you saw, or what happened?

Do you mean that your ad appeared twice? Or do you mean that your ad, which is usually on the right, appeared at the top? Or is it something else?

I read patient2all's message twice, and it seemed
pretty clear to me what he was saying. The #1 ad
was above the regulars serps (premium listing), and his ad was the
#2 ad, but would have been in the top spot on the
right side of the page. He clicked on his ad and
was taken to the #1 ad's site which was listed above the
regular serps, instead of his site. Did I get this correct, patient2all?
