In reality, however, I'm on the end of the second page because other people's broad match ads makes THEM show up before mine do. So what can I do to have my ads show up on pos 1 for the keyphrases I picked?
There's no point bidding more for a <0.1 and $0.05 keyword, or is there?
Any suggestion appreciated.
PS: typo in subject line. Could the mods fix it please?
keyword1 keyword2 costs $4/click - this is broad matched by other advertisers
keyword1 keyword2 keyword3 costs $0.05/click and has <0.1 clicks in the estimator - I'm doing exact match on this one.
If I raise the maximum CPC for keyword1 keyword2 keyword3 does that mean I will be charged $3-4 a click to show up alongside those paying this amount for keyword1 keyword2?
Well what's the point then, in that case all keywords are expensive no matter what.
If your targeted ad is better than the competition you should attract more clicks even if you're on a lower position (like: first position on the second page, or somewhere on the first page). So if you slightly raise your bid and have a good ad you can work yourself up to a higher position (CTR plays an important role in the positioning).
