I am confused with the ad serving Percentage in Google Adwords and like to know how ad serving (%) is calculated?

What would be the time gap between rotation of 2 or more ads?

Is there any relationship between ad serving(%)and impressions?

This percentage is the actual percentage of impressions that this ad has received (when there are more than 1 ad).

When you have say 2 ads, the "Optimize" feature in your campaign settings is off and both ads are approved each should receive about 50% of impressions. Due to the optimization of Adwords and review status of ads the percentage may not be the same.

Be also aware that if you are looking at a longer period the percentage shown may be relatively low for new ads that did not exist through the whole period.

Does this help?

Could you please explain with an example so that it would be more clear?
