Isolating Adsense Keyword Triggers

Any quick method for doing this

The number of times I stumble upon a cool content site running adsense, and say to myself, gee wouldn't it be great to have my ad running here. I then try and fling in keyword combo after combo to try and replicate the ads I see on the page, but alas this very seldom seems to give a good indication.

Anyone know of a quick surefire method of finding out which keyword is being used immediately? Perhaps adwords should have a sandbox where you can view both search and content ad displays for certain keywords.

You can use the AdSense preview tool to see what ads Google thinks should be on a page:

[google.com...]

Also, if you study a page's keywords (sometimes title/description tags just to see what keywords they're targeting), and the keywords closest to the ads you can usually determine what type of keywords will trigger your ad to appear on a page.

A site could have many different main keywords on a page, and Google might serve ads from a large variety of different markets, thus making it so only the top couple of ads from each market are actually shown on that particular page.
