{KeyWords:Widget} - on broad search?

I have something strange happening. I use {KeyWords:Widget} in my ad but it only shows up one keyword. The only keyword I have is widget without any [] or "" around it.

However, when testing it, it will only show Widget and not what the user types in. Are there some special restrictions going on here?

dont work on broad mate.

only on KeyWords you have in adgroup

Curious as I was about to ask the same question.

I also thought that I could use broad match...I think this is something that should be included by Google.
