aff? Yes, I know it means affiliate...

But in what circumstances is it required?

As a adwords advertiser, I see this from time to time on other advertisers search results.

When is one required (I'm assuming this is a G TOS thing) to do this?

I believe it is required if the product/service you are selling is not sold by you or your company directly.

If you are directing traffic to a third party site (via a landing page or not) then you are an affiliate and the (ghastly) "aff" is mandatory.

Excuse my paranoia about the G TOS, but I do send people to my site, where there are plenty of opportunities to go elsewhere (which is really how I make my $).

This sounds like I clearly do NOT need the aff., however, if anyone has more experience and knows for sure, please let me know!

Hey,

If you are sending people to your own site, and then trying to send them off to aff programs... Don't bother putting the aff in the ad. I don't

If you are sending people straight to the Merchant, then do put the aff in there.

All the Best,
