I read about someone changing their Adwords settings so ads don't appear on partners pages and getting a higher ROI. Anyone else expierence this? I am guessing you go to campaign settings and uncheck search content? Thanks.

Yes, that's how you do it. You may also find anomalous behaviour when some ads do better on partner sites than Google. :)

I've got one particular ad that continually does amazingly better on content than via G. No idea why, it just does...

So, be wary not to dismiss content/search network without testing conclusively...
