Campaign showing active status but no impressions

Hi.
I signed up for an Adwords account last week and added a few keywords (this was Thursday). Friday I checked my account and I had a couple hundred impressions and some clicks. I then added many more phrases and changed the link from a page on my website to the vendor site (affilliate link). From that moment my impressions froze although both my campaigns are showing an "active status". I don't understand what's going on. I emailed Google and haven't got a reply yet. Any ideas?

The initial thought is that your campaigns are under human review, and also, as you'll learn from similar threads here, making ad changes on a Friday is not necessarily the best time as the weekend lies ahead...

I've had this happen as well. Seems like e-mailing them is the best approach. Their "human review" can take forever unless you notify them. Google has no form of communication with its customers. Quite sad.
