On friday, we created a new campaign that says active. The rest should remained paused. Only problem is, the new active campaign is not active and nothing is happening, even on google.
What is going on? I thought google.com shows ads in five minutes?
Anyone else experiencing this?

* Most new or edited ads/keywords will go live on Google, almost immediately, before they are reviewed.* An exception to the above can occur when the ads/keywords are of a 'sensitive' nature. In such cases, the ads/keywords will need to be reviewed and approved before appearing on Google.
* The 'sensitive' nature of ads/keywords can vary according to world events, etc. Please be aware that some keywords may not appear at first glance to be sensitive, but in fact must be reviewed before running. As an example, keywords relating to infants, children, kids, teens, etc., may not show ads until reviewed and approved, for reasons that I hope will be evident upon reflection. Use similar reflection to determine if your keywords may be 'sensitive'.
* The review process covers the ads themselves, all the keywords, and the site(s) that the ads/keywords link to.
* It is worth noting that, if ads/keywords of a sensitive nature have been approved previously in the one's account, this does not mean that they can show without being reviewed if used again elsewhere in the same account. This is because the specific combination of ads/keywords/site must be verified, separately, in every case.
* Once ads/keywords are reviewed and approved, then they may be sent to partner sites - assuming they are appropriately positioned. When this occurs, an advertiser may notice an increase in impressions and clicks - which is the difference between showing in one place and showing in many places.
* The review process is accomplished as quickly as possible, and time-to-review varies a great deal depending on volume, and when the ads were submitted.
* Ads are reviewed on a very limited basis over the weekend. So please be aware that submitting new or edited ads/keywords late Friday night, or over the weekend, will delay the process.
* With the above in mind, if you have the choice, it is best to submit new ads mid-week rather than beginning or end of the week.
