Hi everyone. I've just done my first website and I subscribed to Google AdWords (PPC). For some reason, Google only seems to be giving me a presence in India. I've received several inquiries from people in India, which makes no sense to me. I can't find myself on Google with any of the adwords I'm using. I have a photo services type of business <snip> and could use some plain language advice on web presence, Google and pay-per-click.

Thanks all.

Hello and welcome to Webmaster World!

You subscribed to AdWords, so you are PLACING PAID ads next to the Google search results, right? And only people from India see and click on these ads and come to your site?

If all this is correct, then you probably have set "India" as the country in your campaign settings. Check the settings again and either change it to worldwide focus (which I wold not recommend) or to the country AND/OR language (Yes, it's and/or, so you can do either one or both) you want them to appear.

Does that solve your problem?

Hi divadezign and welcome to webmasterworld!

Google adwords allows you to geotarget your ads, so maybe you clicked on "India" by mistake when creating your ads? Double check this. If not, then try creating an ad with geotargetting for your locations.

Could it be that accidentally your ad is only appealing to Indian visitors? Try chaning the text, or use a rotating ad with a different text and see if that one attracts other visitors.
