I can't reveal my source, but it is official: on the 14th September, Google will introduce some new features into Google AdWords.

What features? Not entirely sure, creative tracking is one possibility as is bulk uploads.

I am alone to hear of this special date?

One other feature will that will be available (90% sure) is for you to have keyword insertion enabled creatives in the same ad group with misspelling keywords.

I've not heard, but then, when do Google say anything about new releases? Let me take this chance to echo the call for an monthly advertiser newlstter. ;)

Can't come soon enough for me. :)

Recap of what I now understand is coming on the 14th:

1) Tracking results at creative level.

2) Bulk uploads of keywords, creatives etc.

3) Change to allow creatives with insersion code in a group of keywords containing misspellings.

4) Better reporting on multiple transactions originating from the one conversion.

5) More geo-targeting options and regions. Australia and Asia especially.

6) Better handling of changing the CPC to multiple groups/campaigns.

7) Troubleshooting tool: you will enter your URL of landing page and it will tell you why your ad isn't showing (under review, disapproved, disabled keyword etc).

8) Keyword/creative status reporting (ie. "Under Review").

9) Dynamic insertion of keyword into the destination URL.

Some of these are 99% definate, others are more speculative guesses.

10) The "Site Stats" conversion page logo image will now be replaced with a customized text box. You can chose the background color of text box and the font color. Given this, you can effectively make the text hidden.

How about a much more comprehensive way of being able to pay money into your account, other than only via credit card or bank transfer. Why not change the system to allow both types of money upload? Overture seem to be able to accept cheques, transfers, credit card from any of their accounts. Why cant Google do it?
