What can be done if adwords keeps declining a valid credit card? Iam trying to use adwords for the first time but cant activate my account. I called my credit card company and they said there is no reason for it to be declined and that they were not the ones who declined it.
This is very discouraging as I would love to start using adwords.
Google Guy any advice? or help?
I have emailed them for the past 2 days and no response.
Help....

I called google adwords because I couldnt get them to activate my account. (kept declining my cc)
Wow were they nice....fixed my problem in just 2 min.
Plus they gave me a new customer service number. If you anyone wants it I will post it here....let me know
(google really does care!)

Congrats, ZeroCool, good to hear Google answers at least paying customers requests...j/k

>number
thanks, but rather not. If they want to push that number they will probably put it up on their help pages.

Tip on entering in info to start a new account...
1. captialize first letter in your adress
2. use abbrevations for state name and put them in caps.

my cc was declined only because of this reason. Hope it helps someone else. Let me know if anyone wants to hear about the conversation I had with them ( told me about some new features coming out for google ).

I had a phone call and email from one of Google's Adword specialists to inform me that Google have assigned 2 people to help me with any questions or concerns I have with my Adwords account - direct phone numbers and all.

When I put them to the test, they were great! Very friendly and very helpful. A1 service - and fast.

Hi GoogleGuy,

Just wondering if you heard about Google adding PayPal as a method of payment for either Adwords or Premiums programs?

My clients are billed via PayPal and i have to transfer this amount into my bank account and then use the bank money to pay the Visa bills you send me.

It would be much more simple to just transfer the funds from my PayPal account into Google's account.

Besides, if you bill me $5,000 you still have to pay a merchant fee to Visa (and i'm not mentionning my own CC interest at the end of the month here) while the transfer of funds from one Paypal account to the other is almost zero.

Besides, i wouldn't be surprise to pay you $25,000 each month in the next few months but boy i would hate to nearly bust my limit every month just because of Google's bill.
Go PayPal Go :-D

Anyone else is sharing my view here?

Gee, I've had a customer service phone # for months now. I have even used it a few times with great success. They emailed it to me when it was first created.

I don't see them ever moving to paypal. For the same reason that my company will never take paypal. First of all, it is an accounting nightmare for a large company and second of all, paypal charges much higher fees than what they would currently pay directly to the CC company.
