What is googleadservices.com

I am new to google adwords and it seems a few of my hits are coming from googleadservices.com. Is this something special with adwords, does it mean anything. Or is it just sometimes they use google.com and sometimes the other domain?

These are visitors from the Adwords Content Syndicated partners sites (i.e. Adsense publishers)

I disabled content for now, it yields a very low CTR anyhow.

Whew! Just getting back from a root canal! So glad to be here, and not there...

This is not an area of towering expertise for me, but I'm close to certain that when you see 'googleadservices.com' in your logs, you are looking at a click from an AdWords ad which occurred on Google.com, and not on a partner site.

Clicks coming from Content partners will show googlesyndication.com.

I'll double check on this, and post again if I learn otherwise.

So is there any word yet on what this referer is? Just a guess but could it be the Preview Tool?
