Problem with Ads showing up

Ad is acting like I'm low on budget

I advertise exact match on "red widgets" with a budget between 5x and 10x my daily spend. I check my stats for the day, and I've got almost $200 of budget left on a keyword I'm spending 0.31/click on.

Unfortunately, my ad is not running regularly. On 9 of 10 searches on the exact keyword phrase, my ad doesn't show up. About 10% of the time, it shows up in the top position.

CTR rate is good (showing as STRONG), as evidenced by the top position. Relevance is good - everyone advertising on this keyword is selling different brands of the same type of widget.

I wouldn't think its my max CPC, since when I do show up, its always in top position.

I'm at a total loss. Anyone have any clues here?

Doing 10 searches from your computer is a bit of an overkill.

- Do 2 or 3 searches from different computers at different times
- Do a search through proxies like anonymizer or proxify.com
