I find most of the time I can not see my ad, unless the keyword is not very competitive.

I found my ads ctr is very low, and I believe my ad is somewhat attractive

So I am wondering how do you guys check whether your ad appear at the first second or third place

If you must see your ad you can:

1.) Keep refreshing until you see it... ;)

2.) Up your daily budget on the adgroup, take a look, then put the daily budget down again (do this late at night, on a Sunday, or at another time when you think that not many people will be searcing for it if you're worried about the extra clicks).

3.) Trust the average position G tells you (which is pretty much spot on, in my experience).

Happyallday, you should always see your ad, unless your daily budget is too low, or you target to different country (region) or language than your own one.

You can increase your daily budget in campaign settings and you can view ads targeted to a disfferent country or language via

gl
and
hl
parametters in the URL.
