Nyet, not sure if this is your issue, but just out of curiosity, do you know what your 'Cipher Strength' is set to? Ideally it would be 128-bit.

(In IE for example, click on the Help menu and select 'About Internet Explorer.' A box should appear displaying your Cipher Strength. If it is 40- or 56-bit Click on the 'Update Information Link' next to the field. The link will take you to Microsoft's site where you can update to 128.)

Maybe check this too:

1. Select 'Tools' from the MS IE browser menu.
2. Select 'Internet Options.'
3. Select the 'Advanced' tab.
4. Under 'Security,' check both 'Use SSL 2.0' and 'Use SSL 3.0.'

Hope this may help. Have you tried another browser, BTW?

AWA,

thanks. I am 128 bit. no problem there.

I have tried macs and pc's MISE 5 and NS6.2.

none can get through.

The macs get to the page at [adwords.google.com...]
but with broken graphics. Login spins and nothing happens.

PC's can't get to the page.

All computers on same IP.

cleared cache and history.

strange.

I don't think so, nyet. If this were the case, I'd be hearing about it from all quarters - including this forum.

I have heard some rumblings about issues related to Comcast and users on the East Coast. Not really sure what it's about yet, however.

Do either of these factors match for you? Are you able to access other major sites? Yahoo!? eBay?

If I hear anything more, I'll let all y'all know.

nyet,

Did you check the SSL settings too, per my earlier post? This could be the problem.

I've pinged the tech folks, and your issue seems to be a one-off. I'm not hearing of any similar issues, and neither is the engineer I spoke with.

I certainly hope you've gotten back in.

AWA,

thanks for all your help. I called AW support, gave them my IP and within 5 minutes it works....hmmm?
