Hey,

Someone was talking about these vouchers being in some UK magazines a little while ago. Too bad I'm not new :-] Oh well, $50 isn't worth the experience I have gained.

I hate these things .. they just end up inflating adwords bids.

They do it to recruit new advertisers. Which in turn will create more competition for terms, thus making them cost more. I don't see why thats bad? besides the obvious costing more, But isnt this how a market is suppose to work?

It's the 'free money' they're flushing into the network that I despise.

Someone just comes along and bids randomly without really caring about what they're doing because hey, it was all free money anyways.

This was a problem on ebay because they gave away so much free money for their banner ads, nobody ever bought real ads because it was always to expensive to bid on.

I can understand that but, how far can $50.00 really go in inflating the market.

They hand out $300 vouchers like it's candy at some of these conferences.

I guess another part of this is a certain degree of envy as I didn't get $300 to start up my adwords campaign.
