PS: Because I only handle PPC advertising as a sideline to my primary work tasks I find it is exceptionally difficult to be as proficient as I would like. Help for real-world users is much appreciated!
Thanks!
I have about 600 terms in 10 groups and I want to further segment them. Does anyone have a simple way to reposition terms in new or existing groups?
Welcome to the forum, telco analyst!
I am sorry to say that there is not anything like a 'one click' way to do what you want. However, you can grab keywords in bulk from one Ad Group, and paste them into another Ad Group quite quickly.
To do this:
* Go to the Ad Group from which you would like to take the keywords.
* Above the Stats chart, click on the 'Edit Keywords' link.
* Do a cut and paste - first, cut the keywords from the first Ad Group. If you do a 'Control X' (or equivalent for your browser) it'll remove the keywords from the first Ad Group, and cause them to show as deleted when you save the changes.
* Paste the keywords into the new Ad Group, and save changes.
Also want to create 2-3 ads within an existing group where only 1 now exists.
If I've understood you correctly, just use the 'Create New Ad' link to the right of the ad (at the top of your keywords list) in the Ad Group view of your account.
Hope this helps.
