Is there any limitation in using words like Viagra and other pharmacy items on the ads?
Can we target those words? Can we use them on the ads?
I heard there are also some other limitations like you need to have some kind of pharmacy credential to advertise medicine. Is it true?

Before using adwords for prescription drugs, you need to be certified by squaretrade.com. Try searching google's help for more details.
