Go Toast doesn't provide accurate bid prices for each position. They don't provide any discounts on adwords since the prices they provide are inaccurate. No reason to use such service.
Is there any other service that CAN provide adwords bid prices for all positions?
Let me know.
Does Go Toast provide anything more than what you are able to get from Adwords?
Go Toast doesn't provide accurate bid prices for each position.
Since you ask, I suspect you have not used it (GT is now called Atlas OnePoint).
I am not comparing bids to the last penny but every time I have looked, the bids looked the same as they did in the PPCSEs. Perhaps I am lucky but the bids in my niche seem to stay stable.
What do I get beyond AdWords?
I live in ProfitBuilder most of the day (in a separate window). The Daily Sales Summary tells me how the day is going and how it is likely to go. I can see if the sales are coming from PPCSEs or Others. When you have several ad outlets, you need a central dashboard and OnePoint does the job well. If I need to drill down a specific term, I can; or I can look at the best performing terms across all PPCSEs and ponder why the same term performs differently.
If I had just one PPCSE outlet, being AdWords, perhaps I could live with its own interface.
Is there any other service that CAN provide adwords bid prices for all positions?
In a word, no. Google doesn't operate a bid price scenario like Overture or other PPC's.
From our experience Google Adwords is handled best using Google's interface, when it is no more than a few hours behind. Lately it's been tough to do that, but it should be the same for everyone, so a level playing field.
You suspected wrong. I did use go toast and could not find any good use out of it. Their bids for Adwords advertisers are incorrect and inaccurate which means they have no access to real numbers from google. Go toast wrote an incorrect algorithm. An inaccurate service that was written in interpretation of how google describes how they do it on their website. It seems like they were also confused how advertisers are billed 1 cent above the bidder below them and in fact it is confusing when you read how google describes that on its website.
They can’t use an incorrect algorithm and mislead advertisers in thinking they can "help" them by saving them money offering a service that is functioning incorrectly.
Would you like me to post screenshots to pages where they show the 1 cent below every other advertiser so you can see what they offer?
IMHO it's just a useless service for Adwords.
I looked at one Google bid where I have a Max CPC of $1.20 but Average CPC of $0.99 (yesterday). In AOP, this is shown as a Max Price of $1.55 and a Current Price of $1.20.
So, yes, the numbers aren't close but as there were no sales today, I am not sure what to expect in AOP. It is a two-updates-a-day account, so I am not expecting wonders.
Over the months I have found a few other irritations with AOP's documentation and occasionally with the figures. I report them all to the tech support.
