We signed up with Adwords last night and havent seen any impressions nor can we find the ad.

Hmmm...maybe folks are on a long holiday weekend over at Google....

I sent a support ticket...holding my breath.....

Fred,

Welcome to Webmasterworld.

Google adwords as far as I knowis automated and usually live in a very short space of time, although manual checking is done.

Whats the log in panel showing?

Thank you, nice to discover this website. All these years on the web and never saw it.

When I log in I can see the Campaign (and the deleted ones). I do not see any messages as it being rejected.

I set-up the account and can see the initial $5 fee, do I have to resubmit the CC info again to start the ads?

check to see that your add meets all the guidelines. It probably doesn't and that is why it didn't (nearly) instantly appear. Certain hype words are a no-no.

I just thought about that, I had the word FREE, which Im sure is a no-no. Ill play with it a bit.

It depends on the industry. There are some that will automatically get flagged and need some editorial guidance.

It's frustrating, but the ads will come online soon enough.

Good points. I changed it a bit, thought about words that might get flagged and didnt use them. Ill probably know by tommorrow, Im sure Google gives their humans off on Sundays.

thanks for all the help.

Schoolbag, this might not be right, but as I recall I did the same as you the first time. What I did is delete the campaign and start a new one fresh without the offending word.
