Whats the difference in colours?

Why does adwords show in pink then green?

I was wondering why adwords displays in green and pink, I have been enjoying adwords for about a month with good results my ctr is always above 1.0 but recently my ads do not appear, but when you hit the refresh button they re-appear, whats going on?

And what about them colours?

Check your campaign max budget. It probably went up due to increased traffic over the holidays. If you aren't up to their suggested max budget, you will only appear part of the time.

As far as the colors go, it is my understanding that they are random. Anyone else know different?

Colours certainly seem random, although I'd happily pay extra to not have them displayed in pink! :)

No I am no were near my max limit, very strange its now happening on all my keywords.

While you may not be close to using your max limit, if you are not set above their suggested max budget, your ads will not appear all the time. It's annoying but true.

One of my campaigns has a suggested max budget of over a $1000 but I only pay about $200 - $300 (and that is with an average 5% CTR).
