I have an adsense account already set up. I now wish to set up an adwords account. Simple enough however it wont let me.

You will use these later to log in to your account. (If you already have an AdSense account, enter your AdSense login and password, which you can use in the future to access your AdWords account. You may also create a unique AdWords login and password if you prefer.)

When I put my adsense UN + P it wont let me saying that email is already in use. Of course it is, it is mine. Is this a common problem?

Cheers

This is a common problem that comes up. I've not heard it being successfully resolved for anyone (although, it could be because no one posted when the problem was fixed). Creating a new email address has worked in the past for others.

I'm an AdSense publisher, and for a while I got errors about being in use, then yesterday when I checked, it let me login, and create an adwords account.

However, IT'S NOT WORTH IT.
Problems I've had:
- It said I've been "slowed 3 times", and will be charged. This was literally a couple hours after I signed up.
- Had to re-do my entire campaign repeatedly because it would say an error occured, and an engineer would be notified.
- The keyword price tool didn't work, it showed $0.00 for every keyword, even when I used a very popular one, and set to max of $50.00
- It didn't send a confirmation email
- Other stuff

So, if you want to do AdSense, USE A NEW EMAIL. It may be "supported" now, but it's so buggy it's not even funny.
