Can anyone tell me what is happing with google and gambing ads

I'm still surprised that Google made this decision, because it surely must have chopped off about at least a hundred million in revenue a year for them. Maybe that is why they changed position on the trademark policy, in order to make up for that lost money.
Since it is my admittedly pessimistic view that the bulk of internet activity (well, spending) consists of gambling and porn, I figured that maybe 10% of that 962 million must have to do with gambling, thus the 100 million figure. I certainly don't have any confidence that that is true, however.
