Does Duplicate "Thank You" Get Counted?

Anyone have any experience with whether or not Google Site Stats counts a visitor again if they submit a duplicate order or request?

This could have a pretty big impact on the accuracy of the Conversion Rate.

REALLY trying to figure out the answer to this question. Is AWA still around this neck of the woods?

Hi HayMeadows - I'd be happy to add my 2 cents on this question. But first, the word duplicate in your question caught my attention. Are you making a distinction between a duplicate order (meaning perhaps a second identical order) and just another order from the same person? If so, I'm 99% sure that the situation will be the same in either case.

If a person who has already registered a conversion returns to your site and submits another order, they will register another transaction, but will not register another conversion.

So a cookied individual may register many transactions, but only one conversion during the life of that cookie.

Hope that makes sense.

AWA
