This one [abcnews.go.com] gonna be a serious challenge for the juridic departement of Google!
And probably a big nail in the markerting departemnt and for Eric Schimdth. I never understand why Google allow the trademark steeling.

Google seem to argue if it is not clearly write on a ad it is not a hijacking of trademark? But why Google itself stop to put adwords on "verity" one year ago to promote is appliance?

It is logic if a new little unknow "soda company" can buy "coke" adwords to grab the customers of coca-cola who spend billions and billions over years to market their name and that little company will put only a thousands dollars to grab the traffic to his site in a month? Nonsence!

This is ridiculous. Of course advertisers should be able to buy their competitors' names as keywords. It's a no-brainer. To argue otherwise is to overstate how much intellectual property protection should be extended.
