I've only been doing this for about a month now - but a 45 hour outage... If it is not a typo... Well... Wow :(

As it is now two hours later and it's working fine one can only assume it was a typo.

There will often be notices like that announcing 5 minute or less outages.

We have never found it to be a problem.

Not like Over who sometimes goes out for hours or days.

I, too, logged on this morning, however my log in said, "Adwords will be offline for 46 hours and (o) minutes and I panicked!....However when I logged back in 2 hours later...things were up and going good....must be a late April Fools Joke....;-)

I'm getting the warning in IE but not Mozilla. Nevertheless, Adwords is online in IE and is accepting edits.

Hey,

Another one of the AdWords bugs that seems to be happening as of late?

Yep, it's now 10:26PM CST and this is the message on my google page "AdWords will be offline for 45 hour(s) 0 minute(s) beginning immediately. "

So tell me, how did Google manage to cram 90 hours into one day? I'm impressed! ;-)

That would be impressive, wish I could find 45 hours in a day.

I've been in several adwords accounts off and on all day, and never once did I see any error messages. I got kicked out of the system a few times more than normal, but thats about it.

And it is still saying 45 hours even after you log in. I lost a day's worth of wotk because I didn't try to log in this morning, but I did so now and can move around as normal.

From past evidence it seems like they do not have many engineers around on weekends.

As this is not a critical problem it will probably be fixed today.

There have been some problems with Adwords recently. 11 days ago all my ads stopped showing, although everything was listed as active, all keywords were strong or moderate. However, my competitors are still showing for the same keyphrases

First attempt received no reply from Google. After a week I emailed them again. This time I received a reply saying that it was a fault at their end.

My ads have started showing again this afternoon.

A client tried to signup for GoogleAds last Thursday but the URL in the verification email didn't work.

AdWords will be offline for 45 hour(s) 0 minute(s) beginning immediately.

Oh my.

Well, I'll certainly ping the tech team to make sure they're aware that this kinda scary message went out.

As it is now two hours later and it's working fine one can only assume it was a typo.

Yep, clearly a typo - and sorry for the confusion. Glad to see, though, that panic did not reign! ;)
