If you have a Premium Listing on Google does this have any impact on your listing within the main Google search results. We have a customer who on the face of things should be appearing on the first page of search results, but is no where to be found on his target key phrase. Cant explain this with poor SEO or low PR.

We have been assured multiple times by both GoogleGuy and AdWordsAdvisor that the SERP results and AdWords advertising are in no way related and do not have any impact on each other at all.
