Just out of curiosity has anyone ever had a credit back to their adwords spend, because google believes that fraudulent activity has taken place on an account?

There have been a few sporadic reports or refunds here and there.

You would think that the zeal that Google uses to disable publisher accounts, without payment for the previous months earnings, then the refunds woudl be quite high. Otherwise, what is happening with the money that hasn't been paid to the publisher but had been deducted from the advertiser. Or is my logic failing me here?

Yes, I get sporadic 50 quids here and there.
Also I think there's quite a delay between spend and refund, as an account I haven't really used for a few months got a credit adjustment last week...

Not for fraudulent reasons but for other random issues. Just contact your AW rep and they will help you.
