Recently saw an influx of gmail ref. in the raw logs. A closer look showed steady traffic from 4/10/04 to 4/12/04 from the controversial gmail. Because the traffic came and went from such a beta program, I am not goign to speculate on what is going on or where the traffic has gone. What I will point out is that my conversions per user were more than double. Nearly every (gmail ref.) visitor converted. My average ratio of visitors to conversions is 5:1, with gmail 2:1.
